Rain Rain go away...

So this morning I managed to drag Jonathan out of the house before 8am to get some much needed errands done. as we left the last one it began to precipitate ... I say this because at the time it was 32 degrees outside and I was not sure if it was raining or snowing but there were little watter spots on my window. by the time we got across town (15 minutes) it was RAINING!!! WTHeck?? its a week before christmas, there WAS a beautiful covering of snow over everything and now its just a Mucky Nasty springtimeish mess. it had better snow again before christmas and stay this time.

the good that happened today is that AlixZander is in the 90% for his weight and the 75% for his Highth. making him bigger than about 85% of kids his age... Yeah I knew this.

Also I was told I am loosing too much weight. Got to love the Wic office. my Doc is aware of how much weight I have lost and he has no issue with it. I have extra to spare. but now I have an apointment with the nutritionist. and unfortunatly I have probibly had just as much experinace in nutrition between school, and working for a living facility that I know everything that she is going to say... Just Smile and Nod, Just smile and nod... Oh well. now if I could only find a way to keep off all the weight I loose while I am pregnant it would be great!! Oh well.

Its begining to feel a lot like Christmas!!!

FINALLY!!!!

I was starting to wonder if I was ever gonna get that "christmas spirit" feeing going on this year. But I beleave it has finally arrived.

it did nothing but snow all weekend so everything has a good 10-12 inches of snow on it... today its warmed up a little so there is some melting going on but I beleave there is enough snow it will last till christmas!!!

Saturday Morning started off with our ward christmas BREAKFAST!!! I have never attended a christmas Breakfast before and it was Awsome!! the theme was "The Christmas orange" wich is a story centered arround a little orphan girl and her trials of a new home for christmas.

it is a Beautiful story and of corse makes the pregnant woman cry.

then after the breakfast my parents came down from Soda Springs and we went shopping all day... it was an off week for paychecks so we only got a few little things. we did manage to find a beautiful little 2 ft christmas tree that we bought and set up on our dresser to put our presents under to make sure they stay wrapped this time. we found some little ornaments and some lights.

we had a great time with my parents... definatly over did it but still had a great time.

then sunday we had church and of corse it dosent matter how well we are doing for time we all ways end up rushing in the end... this morning we could not find my car keys and ended up taking Jonathan's car. Church went great. AlixZander is getting better and better with me not sitting with them through part of sacrement and then going to nursery. He even waved good by this time.

Sunday after church we all came home ready for naps but unfortunalty AlixZander had other ideas. No matter how hard we tryed he would not nap. so we got him up and set up and decorated the christmas tree

as I have never added pictures again I wanted them to be right here but its not going to happen for some reason they insist on being at the end so there are 2 pictures one of AlixZander decorating the tree and one of the finished product.

the rest of the evening went very well. AlixZander did end up taking a nap on my lap about 5pm we were plaing "Wario Touched" and at some point he fell asleep. it was nice to have him fall asleep on my lap becasue it has been almost a year sence he has done that and it was really nice to just cuddle with him as he slept.

Because of the late nap he did not go to bed till after 9 but it was OK it was a great Family Togetherness afternoon.

Right now he is taking a nap. I have gotten a shower and done 2 loads of laundry only 2 more to go then they all must be put away. but one thing at a time. ;)

3 1/2 +1+3= way too many bodies in one little space (with an update)

Sorry that my updates have fallen to the wayside. my "mommy Time" has become nonexistent. The dear Friend we are living with has also opened his home to his Girlfriend and her 2 children. we all are now living in a single wide 3 bedroom trailer. I am trying to be as patient as I can with the situation. There are a few issues when you get 2 Mothers in the same household Expecially when said mothers have differing views on discipline, parenting, morals, Exc. exc... and unfortunatly the 2 new children have not brought any of there things with them (its all back in there apartment that she is still paying rent for but is never there) so all of my sons toys become there toys. Normally this would be fine... What a great opportunity for AlixZander to learn how to share and play with other children and get some socilaizing. But the other 2 children DO NOT have to share (unless repremanded by me). They have gotten there mother so figured out that if they whine enough they get what ever they want (and thiese children are 2.5 and 4). There mother is constantly saying "I NEED MOMMY TIME" and slams the bedroom door leaving the children with me. My son is picking up habits from them that I DO NOT want him to have and am fighting with every ounce of my being to break before its too late, such as... they do not eat in the kitchen , They whine constantly, and Most of all they do not listen at all to there mother. one child will throw her coat on the floor and then mom will say "Pick up your coat" the child will look at her mother laugh and continue on what she was doing... the mother will say "or not" and pick it up for her.... UH NO!!! MAKE HER DO IT. I hear the excuse of Oh they are too young or the older one doesn't know any better. my two year old knows better than to whine for something. and if he tries he gets no where.

ok enough venting I could go on forever. I am extremely grateful that our friend has such an open heart because if he didn't we would not have a place to stay. Needless to say though we are looking for other places to put up residence.

AlixZander is still in the midst of a language boom. and is defiantly working on 2-3 word strings if we could only understand what he was trying to say!! he gets very frusterated when he cant express himself. he is also working on more spacific names for things such as everthing with a motor is not longer a car. he knows the difference between a car (trucks vans exc are still cars) and a Plane and a Train. He knows there is a difference between Horses and Cows sometimes he still gets this one confused but its getting better. he has learned please. and now we are working on thank you... as he seems to have lost it totaly.

OH OH OH I almost forgot the best news of all ..... we found out about a week ago that we are having a BABY BOY!!!! I am so excited!!! girls scare me though Im sure it will be fun to have one or 2 but im really glad we are having another boy!!! Well as it seems I am about to be over run I must end for now... hopefully I can update more soon.

The good the bad and the ugly

This weekend has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I am only gonna focus on the ups because i have complained enough about the downs.

Jonathan and I went out on a date for our anniversary. we went and saw New Moon and then went to Olive Garden... it was the BOMB!!! my cousin took AlixZander for the day so it was just the 2 of us. we did have to run to walmart to get a few things that I forgot friday and in the process I Lost Jonathan. But soon found him and then we left walamart. As I went to get in my seat there was a basket full of Hershey kisses (cherry cordial and candy cane) a stuffed monkey, a rose and White Christmas on DVD. Jonathan had snuck out and got it ready while i was shopping. it was so sweet!!! the rest of the evening went great!!!

Sunday was great till after church and then it was a nightmare.

today has not been so great eather.

But saturday was AWSOME I love my husband so much and am sooo glad that we have been married for 4 wonderful years, Sealed together for 3 wonderful years, offically a family for 2 wonderful years and we have so much more to do and grow and be together.

Here's to another day

so today was a mostly good day... I had some pregnant brain moments and realy did not accomplish much but it was a good day.

Jonathan started over at his new building which use to be leased by another company we both worked for that was hands down the best job we ever had. So he is having some issues with memories and emotions from working at the same building but with a different company. Unfortunalty the original company we worked for was forced out of busness by some dirty deals made by another company. its all really complicated. But AlixZander and I took some lunch to him and I actualy got it right for once. Jonathan has this list of things that he LOVES from taco bell but due to locations has not had these spacific items for over a year. I drove to this one taco bell that I knew carried all of the things he loved and I got them all!!! I was VERY proud of myself. well then we had to run and errand CLEAR ACROSSS TOWN and I mean it was from one extreme to the other. well I get all the way over to where i need to be and realize the thing I need to drop off is in Jonathan's car. so I had to go ALL THE WAY back and then back again... an hour and a 1/4 of a tank of gas later I finaly got that errand taken care of so I decided to hit up walmart for the LONG list of things I needed... I think I made it out of the store with 1/4th of what I needed. but I am feeling good today! AlixZander slept in till after 8. all in all it was a great day.

- He carried on an entire conversation in walmart and I havent the foggiest clue what he said

- He managed to figure out how to jump off the arm of the couch and unfortunaly I was not paying close attention so he landed partly on me.

- He watched The housemates boy climb over the back of the chair and then procided to do it himself. very well I might add.

He is growing and learning new things everyday and I love him sooo much.

Quad Dodecamonthaversary!!!

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary... I am married to my best friend. He is the perfect father and the perfect husband. he loves me no matter what happens. I am so happy that we are together and will be forever.

today has been an emotional Rollercoaster. Gotta love thoes hormones.

last nights Experiment with AlixZander worked pretty well. he woke up around 730 but played till about 8 and then took a nap from 1-3 so tonight I put him down at 730 becasue I have lots to get ready for Jonathan to come home. we will just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Im sorry this sounds so disjointed im not thinking compleatly clear Im gonna get to work on Jonathans dinner and try again tomorrow.

Loosing time

I fear I may be loosing my 2 hour me time. I know its selfish but its the time that I use to do what I want to do uninterupted by most anything. I LOVE spending time with my son dont get me wrong.

For the last few days AlixZander has been getting up earlier and earlier every morning. He use to sleep in every day till 9 that was AWSOME!! I loved that. then he started getting up at 7!! not so great. My brain dose not function before 10 and my body refuses to function before 8. I have always been this way. well about a week ago he started getting up at 6:30 then 6 and this morning he got up at 5!!!! I CANNOT do 5am no matter how much I want to. If I am going to do ANYTHING before 7am I must have my own time to wake up and must shower as soon as my feet hit the floor or I am useless the entire day. So today I was one grumpy tired stressed out mess. I fear that if this goes on much longer I am going to loose my mind i am so tired during the day that it takes all willpower to get up off the couch. let alone be productive. I would go to bed sooner but Jonathan dose not get off work till 9 and then he comes home and ususaly we eat dinner and then he winds down and by 10pm I am a walking zombie and I pass out as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Inorder to stop this downward spiral I sought sugestions from moms who had been there done that. Namely my mother her only sugestion was put him to bed later. he normaly goes to bed by 7pm because he is a whining, sleepy, zombified mess. so tonight I forced him to stay up till 8. I put on blues clues made him watch that during wich he nearly fell asleep more times than I can count. He was Signing night night to me about every 10 minutes from 730- 8 Then I took him to his room read him 2 books and put him down for the night it is currently 815 and I can hear him talking to himself so im thinking he will be up for about another 15 minutes and be out. im hoping that this will work to reset his morning internal alarm and he will go back to sleeping till at least 7. I can allways hope for 8 or 9 but im not counting my luck.

The other sugestion i got was to cut out his nap time. Other than today he has not really napped for weeks. I do still put him down for naps but he usualy plays in his crib for about 1 hour and then is ready to get up. he may sleep for about 15 minutes or so but that is about it. He also tends to sleep in the car when ever we go somewhere. so I know the kid is tiard but he just dosent want to miss anything. and I am nearly at the end of my sanity.

Night musings

So now that AlixZander is in bed I have my nightly ME time. This usually lasts from somewhere around 7 till a little after 9. I have grown to really love this time. Its the time I use to catch up with the world. Lately this includes and episode of glee and sometimes an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Both streamed off the internet because we don't have payed TV. I like having a little more control over what My family (my son) watches. We LOVE netflix it is the BEST thing ever and sense they added there "watch it now" to the Xbox its an Awesome thing. I am also going to try and add at least a small post each night. and maybe a picture or two from the day (when I figure out how).

Today AlixZander brought me a handful of craft popsicle sticks (that he got from who knows where) and he was SOOO excited about them. he was talking up a storm. Im sure he was telling me some life changing discovery that he had made with said Popsicle sticks but unfortunatly for me I could not understand a word he said to me. We also managed to play "Catch" with a small stuffed DTV football that I had gotten from my Glory days in the land of call center.

AlixZander is learning and understanding more and more every day. he is learning 3-4 new words a day 1/2 of wich I have no clue where he picked them up. But the one he learned today that I know where he got was Baby. He has seen an ultrasound Video that was taken about a month ago when the baby was 11 weeks and we have told him that thats the baby. I also have a picture from the ultrasound on my cell phone. Today AlixZander brought me my phone happily pointing at a picture that he managed to get up (I swear he is figuring out my new phone faster than I am) saying "Baby, Baby" I told him he was right and he did his little Victory clap and dance that he dose when he knows he has done something right. I hope that he never looses that feeling!

I am so excited for the Holidays to be here. from thanksgiving till my birthday is my favoright time of the year. I love all the giving and crafts and baking and cooking and parties and family. This year I actualy have time to do some holiday baking. and I am soooo going to do it!! I want to take plate fulls of goodies to neighbors and friends! I get so excited just thinking about it.

Attempt number..... I forget

SOOOO.... I have tried this about a million times before and I do good for about a week and then something happens and I don't work on it any more... my last attempt had possibilities but then my cat knocked my laptop off my desk and broke the screen and well lets just say having a laptop hooked up to a 27 inch t.v. while handling a toddler is not very productive and all my information was saved on that computer plus the program I was using was there and we haven't figured out how to transfer it yet(its not as easy as it sounds). If I was using my own computer not My husbands it would be easy but thats a whole other story. So lets just say Heres to new beginnings!!
